How it works

You hand over the paperwork. Flagtail does the reading.

Upload your agreements once. Flagtail finds what you're paying, when each term ends and how much notice you have to give, and shows you exactly where each detail came from.

Three steps.

  1. Upload your agreements.

Contracts, leases, service agreements, order forms and amendments. PDFs, Word documents, scans, even phone photos of paper contracts. Upload amendments and order forms with the agreement they belong to.

  2. Flagtail reads every one.

It finds the costs, terms, renewal rules and notice periods, and checks each one against the wording on the page.

  3. See where things stand.

What you're paying, what's coming up and anything that needs a look, in one place. When you sign something new, upload that too.

Triple-checked, against the page.

Getting a deadline wrong is worse than not knowing it. So every agreement is checked three separate ways, and nothing is shown as confirmed until it passes every check.

Read independently, three times.

Each reading is done on its own, and they have to agree.

Every detail has to be on the page.

Each answer comes with the exact words it was taken from, and Flagtail checks those words really are in your document.

Dates are worked out with arithmetic.

The readings find the terms. The dates themselves are calculated by ordinary code, never by AI.

What the labels mean.

Every detail in Flagtail carries one of three labels.

From your documents

All three readings agree, and the wording they point to is on the page. Open it to see the exact words and where they are.

Needs a look

The readings disagree, the wording is unclear, or the page could not be read reliably. Flagtail shows what it found and why, and never presents it as confirmed.

Not in your documents

Every reading went through the whole document and found nothing on this point. If part of a document couldn't be read, Flagtail says "Needs a look" instead.

How a deadline is worked out.

The last day to give notice is the last day of the term, minus the notice the agreement requires.

Term startsJanuary 1
Term length12 months
Last day of the termDecember 31
Notice required60 days
Last day to give noticeNovember 1

Sent or received, as written.

Some agreements count from when notice is sent, others from when it's received. Flagtail shows the agreement's own wording and never swaps one for the other.

Dates are never moved.

If a deadline falls on a weekend, Flagtail says so, and still shows the date the agreement produces.

Business days need a look.

When notice is counted in business days, holidays change the answer, so those dates are always marked "Needs a look".

What Flagtail doesn't do.

It doesn't give legal advice.

Flagtail shows what your agreements say. For questions about what to do under one, talk to your lawyer.

It doesn't act for you.

Flagtail doesn't cancel agreements or contact your vendors. The decisions stay with you.

It doesn't guess.

When an agreement isn't clear, Flagtail says so instead of filling the gap.
