Flagtail is designed to inspect public-facing website information without requiring access to your private systems. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you request a Flagtail report, we may collect the website address you want reviewed, your email address, and information needed to complete the purchase. Payment card information is handled by the payment processor used at checkout; Flagtail does not need to store your full payment card number.
Information we collect during a report
Flagtail may collect and retain publicly available information about the website and domain you ask us to review. This can include public webpages, links, public DNS and domain information, security and email-protection records, public third-party services, screenshots, response information, and other evidence needed to create the report.
Flagtail does not intentionally log in to private accounts, submit customer forms, make purchases, create appointments, or access private systems as part of the standard public assessment.
Website and service data
Like most online services, we may receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, timestamps, and service logs. If analytics are enabled, we may use them to understand how people use Flagtail and to improve the service.
